What we hold to
Automated enforcement is a category where a vendor can make money doing harm. These are the commitments that decide which work we take.
Commitments
Six that are operational, not aspirational
Safety before revenue
We prefer a flat fee over revenue sharing, because the incentive should not depend on the number of citations.
A person decides
No notice is issued by an algorithm alone, on any program, in any country.
Say no when it does not fit
If a jurisdiction is not authorized, or the engineering is the real problem, we say so and lose the sale.
Publish the rules
Retention, purposes and access are published, not described when someone asks.
No resale of data
Program data belongs to the agency or association that runs the program, and our use of it is limited to that program by contract.
No facial recognition
Not part of the scope we offer. Vehicles are not people, and we keep that separation.
How we talk
Precise, structured, and about consequences
We speak from technical knowledge, field experience and an understanding of critical operations. Not from a sales script. What we avoid: grandiose language, unnecessary jargon and futuristic promises with nothing behind them.
Precision
A number with its date, or no number.
Clarity
Written for decision makers, not only for technical staff.
Confidence
Stated plainly, without inflating what we can substantiate.
Hold us to this
If something on this site does not match how we behave, tell us.
